All child carers require a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau check). We are unable to put you forward for any positions without one. If you already have one please bring it with you to the interview. If your CRB is more than a year old then it will be necessary to apply for a new one which can be done through us. If you are successful in obtaining a position through we will refund half the cost of the CRB back to you.
Once we have seen all the documentation and checked references we will create a CV for you detailing all your career history plus information about you, your qualifications and your salary expectations. Your CV will be sent to parents and nurseries depending on the type of position you are looking for. We will keep in touch with you and discuss any new positions that become available. In turn we ask you to keep us updated on your situation, if you have found a position elsewhere or your requirements have changed then please let us know.

Pay
Rates of pay vary depending upon a child carer's experience. Where a child carer works for a family either on a temporary or permanent basis the rate of pay is between £6.50 to £10.00 per hour. When working for a family the family will pay the child carer directly. It is the employer's (the family) responsibility to make tax and National Insurance deductions and provide the child carer with a pay slip. Temporary nursery work is payable by Childcare Solutions. The hourly rate varies from £5.52 to £8.50 (gross) depending on qualifications and experience.
